  I love both the Dallas and Fort Worth Specs but after several visits to this location I'm done. Be aware that their prices are higher than other Spec's in the area. I was able to check the price on a bottle of wine at the Specs I usually shop at on my phone on my first visit and the manager grudgingly price matched the other Specs store. For some unknown reason their prices at this location are much higher. The inside of the store is painted black and it's dark and depressing. The final straw was when I stopped by with my husband to get a bottle of champagne to celebrate our closing escrow on our new home that morning. We were exhausted. We went to the back and saw one bottle of the champagne we wanted in the refrigerator but it was too far back for us to reach. We went to the front and asked the manager and an associate who were standing at the cash register talking to each other if one of them could get the bottle for us. The associate simply told us there was a cooler at the front. What I didn't understand is she meant she wanted me to grab a warm bottle off the shelf and stick it in the ice cooler they had in the front and wait for it to chill. At this point I was very ticked off and told my husband we should just go buy it somewhere else. The manager chased us outside to apologize and told us if we came in again she would be happy to give us a discount on the bottle and she seemed to blame the associate although she was there when the associate made the statement to us. I was already in the car so my husband went back inside and bought the bottle from her and she charged us the full shelf price, no discount. So basically she lied to us in the parking lot to get us back in. Never again. Avoid this place at all costs. There are so many other places selling liquor that will give you amazing service, this isn't one of them.
